I am hoping this post finds everyone doing their best to get through this very unusual time of our lives. I live in Pittsburgh and have been ‘on furlough’ since March 18. At least my employer is paying for benefits until the end of May.
The sister I live with is still working. In a computer room, normally by herself. My married sister is working from home, on the computer. If you knew how bad she is with computers, you would be snickering too. (Sorry, not sorry, MB)
I am doing a bit of writing. As with some of my other author friends, I cannot seem to put much down at one time. My mind doesn’t want to concentrate on Dragons or a space opera or the contemporary I have started. I found the hand-written chapter for Ice Dragon that had been pushed into a corner, so hopefully I can work on that for now. (No, I didn’t put it there, which was why I was hunting for it.)
Please keep safe, stay home, wear masks, do the physical distancing. We will get through this and we will come back strong. No, life probably won’t be the same, but we will make it the best life possible.
